The #1 problem with Linux and new laptops is s3 sleep/suspend is no longer supported because M$ no longer believes in it. Stay away from Dell. I just got a new Dell that has 0 support for this. Even though there's an option in the BIOS, it does nothing. I'm forced to use hibernate instead of suspend.
