At YouTube’s scale, this makes sense operationally. Running GenAI detection reliably across all uploads would be extremely expensive and probably noisy. The harder issue is what happens downstream once content is flagged, not just detection itself.

I understand GenAI and (traditional) machine learning is different technology, but this is not helping for those creator who think their content were altered to become worse.
