Why are they flagged ? Is it someone doesn’t want the topic discussed or flagged because it’s factually incorrect

It's only logical. IBM would have also fired any employees complaining for their German contracts back in the day too...

Hopefully people justifying these firings don't also unironically post stuff like "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" at other times...

Don't like your company's clients? Resign and leave rather than disrupt the process for people who are convenient with that (the majority in this case).

These 28 employees can go pound sand at their next job. If they're so smart and upright, they should start their own companies.

Seriously, who hires clowns like this? - https://twitter.com/katejsim/status/1732820118219203021

It’s probably appropriate to protest if you think your company is behaving unethically. That sort of behavior used to be encouraged at Google. The TGIF tradition existed for this reason. It was provided to support transparency and openness.

In no way are these features required for a company to function. They just used to be core Google values. Apparently Sundar has rolled such inconvenient ethical values back.

These 28 will likely get quite the settlement, employees are foolish not to participate. Can Google afford to take this to trial in the Bay Area? Nope so they will have to pay out.
