Is it wrong if I ask here where I can find Allie chatbot? I would like to try it. The only AI I chatted with is ChatGPT. It is very polite, but I often hit a wall where it says "I'm just an algorithm... So I can't do what you ask". I would like to experience more freedom when interacting with such an entity, to feel what it is like.
TavernAI and SillyTavern both have pretty detailed guides on setting one up by downloading the models from HuggingFace and loading htem into their software.
What is implied more strongly here is something very different: that Meta is, to at least some extent, responsible for the effects on the world at large of these nifty toys it is busily creating. All while telling the world (or at least Mark is) how wonderful this bold new future will be and what's not to like, etc.
It doesn't have to be bad though. This is a voyeurism piece gawking at the evil sex-havers because they're talking about sex.
If anybody in this goddamn world had any sense, every moral institution would get on board with offering a competing service that aligns with their own views, and quickly, before Popes Altman and Zuckerberg define the boundaries of the Woke AI Empire themselves. Someone develop MormonGPT, CatholicGPT, MuslimGPT, or something. They have the money. So much of progress on this front is geared toward technical superiority and training 1T models or whatever, with little attention paid to mass accessibility, and a one-size-fits-all morality that is clearly chafing a lot of people.
But most importantly, don't overpolice it. Humans are curious. If someone wants to use MuslimGPT as a sexbot, let it be a possibility within the confines of that values system-- no, you can't just pop in here and bang the locals, we aren't your personal harem, but if your interests align with ours in a respectful manner (boundaries: this is key), then there are ways to explore how sexuality works as a Muslim (reward!). The subject was strictly taboo forever, and that attitude is likely not going to hold back the masses much longer-- as a society, we've advanced past the boundaries of a parent withholding sex education from their 30-year old. If you don't want someone to do something, don't tell them no, just use deus ex machina (pun intended) to not make it possible. Trying to rape someone in MuslimGPT? Muhammad gallops in on a white horse and does everything he can to ruin the experience. You're going to have to work at it, may or may not be successful, and there will be creative consequences. Any DM worth the title knows what I'm getting at. It's a kinder form of negative reinforcement.
This technology has such incredible potential to serve as a conversion/recruiting tool, which has always been religion's baileywick. The puritanism drove people away. Church is fucking boring, the belief systems are inflexible, and obvious metaphors are interpreted as literal truth and nobody's buying it anymore. More than weird origin stories, we need boundaries within which to live and a playground within which to explore them. Relaxing 14th-century boundaries a little could bring new members in, and give such organizations opportunity to steer people into their flock and onto more righteous paths overall, where people ideally work toward something more productive than dismemberment of their underage sexbot harem when they get bored with it. Because there is no safe way to explore [anything] anymore without getting indicted as a terrorist or treated like a child, people seek alternate sources that end up providing them something way worse, and they go to extremes with it quickly.
They sought a carrot and found crack cocaine. Just give them the fucking carrot, then occupy their time with gardening, so they spend less time looking for something more. We'll all be better off, in every way, for it.
