Are sidekiq jobs a fundamental problem or a solution?
This reads a bit like "we spun up 3000 threads to do this simple task" which in some domains would be an "oh, oh, something is wrong" and in others would be "high five, our system is super scalable".
I think the author politically wants it to be a problem, to further decentralize the fediverse. Which I think is a good idea, but don't want to randomly believe other things just because it would help that cause.
