Pretty much any zigbee bulb (Philips Hue, Osram Lightify, Ikea Tradfri, and tons of chinese brands) can be controlled with a cheap CC2231 USB dongle (~20€ including programmer for flashing) and zigbee2mqtt. I use homeassistant for a nice UI and Node-RED for automation.
